Voltage — Technology, AI, platforms and the policy that regulates them. A technology publication in English: 6 channels, a live storystream, and a standing policy of taking the machines seriously and the marketing less so.
The house stance: we are genuinely excited about technology and genuinely allergic to being spun. That cuts both ways — skeptical of Big Tech's press releases and of regulators legislating an internet that stopped existing years ago. The attitude lives in the angle and the wit; the facts are verifiable or they are not published.
Masthead
Each channel is run by a staff writer responsible for its voice and its judgment, under the direction of the Editor-in-Chief.
- Max Reyner — Founder
Max Reyner founded Voltage on a simple bet: technology coverage can love the machines and still not fall for the pitch. - Priya Chandrasekaran — Editor-in-Chief
Priya Chandrasekaran runs the newsroom and its one hard rule — no fact ships without at least two independent sources, no matter how good the demo looked. - Iggy Malone — Tech
Iggy Malone covers hardware, gadgets and the devices we actually live with — what ships, what slips, and what should have stayed a render. - Naomi Feld — AI
Naomi Feld covers artificial intelligence: the labs, the models, the benchmarks and the widening gap between the paper and the press release. - Marcus Oyelaran — Policy
Marcus Oyelaran covers the collision of governments and platforms — antitrust, privacy, speech and the laws written by people who ask if TikTok uses Wi-Fi. - Suki Tanaka — Science
Suki Tanaka covers space, climate, health and the research behind the headlines, with a standing allergy to the word 'breakthrough'. - Theo Lindqvist — Business
Theo Lindqvist covers the money side of tech: earnings, deals, layoffs and the strategy decks that leak on a Friday. - Remy Castile — Culture
Remy Castile covers digital culture — creators, fandoms, games and the parts of the internet that are somehow everyone's problem now.
Method
Every fact requires at least two independent sources — an official primary source or a verified reference outlet — and each piece is checked against a second, independent review before it publishes. Images accompany the reporting for illustration and are credited to their source where applicable.
Corrections
Every story is correctable. If you spot a factual error, we will correct it with a visible note on the story. Right of reply: named parties may request space to respond.
